Mission Statement |
It is the mission of the Seniors Council to enable older persons to function with independence and dignity in their homes and in the community to their fullest capacity. |
Volunteer Duties |
The Seniors Council is a 501(c)(3) organization, serving the counties of San Benito, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, & Monterey. As an umbrella nonprofit organization, the Senior Council serves the senior community and their caretakers through the following direct service programs (listed below), which are always in need of volunteers. The Seniors Council operates five programs, including: Project SCOUT Foster Grandparent Program Senior Companion Program Tri-County In-Kind Program Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Volunteers primarily work with the Foster Grandparent Program and the Senior Companion Program.
